Indefinitely's debut single revitalises the Sydney shoegaze scene

Reminiscent of waking up on a Sunday morning before a crudely-set midday alarm, the sunny glades of the chorus-filled guitars really made me sway on this track. Something that, if played through a PA speaker at a show, would dominate my mind to become a slave to the sound. It's not hard to see why the 'dreampop' outfit behind this track describes themselves as such, the lyrics confirming this as the girl of everyone's dreams becomes the subject of the piece. In your mind, you can picture her as 'Hera's writer, Emilio Manansala, intended: a covert goddess with the sweetest demeanor while commanded by your anxieties to be the one you fear most.
Complete with the washy guitars and dreamy vocals that sit in the back of your mind hours after the song ends, Indefinitely left me impressed with 'Hera' as their debut song.
